Ian Issitt – Ian has a B.A. in Film and Video (concentration in cinematography) from Columbia College Chicago. He has remained in Chicago to pursue freelance film and video, photography, and new media projects. Ian has a number of clients that includes: Leo Burnett, Phillip Morris, The Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, Event Creative, Half Acre Beer, Cartoon Network, Second City, Leslie Hindman Auctioneers, eFilms, Pontiac Garage Concert Series, Marriott International, The University of Chicago, Deviant Productions, STAR Foundation, Best Light Productions, as well as projects for a number of independent filmmakers and artists. I am the liaison to the client, and assist them in achieving their goals with the project. I operate the camera, and do post production if needed. March 2008 - Present Freelance Camera and Video Technician, Responsibilities include set up and break down of video projection equipment, video switchers, DVD player stations, FastFold screens, plasma TV's, and any other video equipment needed for the job. I am also the on site technician that runs the show, using the aforementioned equipment. Audio Video Technician, I am responsible for set up and breakdown of any audio/video needs of the hotel. Anything from setting/teching a lavish event, to setting up a telephone line for a client. I used a wide array of audio and video equipment to serve the clients needs. Before my departure I enhanced the utilization and storage of our department's most used equipment. May 2007 – September 2008 Staff Photographer, I am responsible for photographing all property that comes in for catalog, web, and press purposes. I lit, photographed, cropped and edited each item as necessary to be ready for press. I proposed and attained new camera and lighting equipment for the department, along with streamlining the work flow, by strategizing with account executives to optimize output.
